I am not in the immediate service area of the Steel Magnolias, but I receive their monthly newsletter (via email - keep it green!)
I 1st encountered them when they had a team in the Birmingham, AL Komen Race For The Cure. Then,as square dancers, my husband & I attended a square dance/silect auction in Anniston as a fund-raiser for them.
They do a great job giving much needed support to breast cancer patients in north-east Alabama.
As a 10-year survivor myself, I know how much their support means to newly diagnosed patients & their families.
Great job & keep it up.

I've met some of the ladies who have received services from the Steel Magnolias & they all have nothing but good to say about the group.
