TOLEDO AREA HUMANE SOCIETY
February 27, 2009
My teenage daughter and I have been volunteering at the Maumee Humane Society location (TAHS) for some time now. We do everything from foster animals that need a temporary, loving home to walking dogs and to just giving some good lovin' where needed. Not only is it time for my daughter and I to bond but we get a lot of satisfaction knowing we are helping. The love we get back from the animals is reward enough. I feel with all the improvements that have been happening recently, the facility is looking better then ever. If you love animals and are not already a volunteer, you should really look into becoming one. To the staff of the Toledo Area Humane Society and all the volunteers, know you are appreciated and keep up the good work.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the knowledge of knowing we are helping to make a difference.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
kind and just as giving.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand and house more animals in need.
Perhaps provide more walking paths for the dogs.
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Volunteer & Temporary foster care provider/dog walker/ and what ever help is needed.
