Ceres Community Project
June 17, 2010

This is a phenomenal organization, and it was started by one woman - proof that an individual can make a difference; kids from the local high schools are brought in to cook, volunteers from the community deliver the food, and the food is very health, whole foods that help in the healing process. This project touches all ages in the community and as Cathryn Couch says, "food is nore than just feeding someone - it's nourishing to the soul and to the whole person". I'm so thankful to be a part of this incredible organization. Thank you Cathryn. Nancy Aita Sebastopol, CA

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

When we deliver the food to the patients, their thanks, their heartfelt appreciation is phenomenal - and having high school kids participate is incredible

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Get them more $$$ so they could serve even more people - they've done an outstanding job and continue to do so. Thank you.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

All of it that I do, which is food delivery.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Incredible human beings; the students are being taught to cook healthy, helpful foods and are incredibly involved in the whole process - when a client dies, it really affects the kids.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Continue it's work, and do more cooking classes

Ways to make it better...

None that I can think of

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Having enough money to make it a complete organization -

One thing I'd also say is that...

We're always told you need more than one person to make a difference; Cathryn Couch, the found of CERES did make the difference, and now is involving others to help her continue to make a difference.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
