After my diagnosis of breast cancer a friend recommended Share. Going to Share helped me retain my sanity through all the fear and confusion. I felt so alone as no one I knew was going through the nightmare. I was put in a newly diagnosed group with a leader. At first it was akward and uncomfortable but after 3 months the group had so bonded we remained friends for over 8 yrs. Now some have passed and others have moved on with their lives. I'm can't imagine going through those first few years without the support of Share and the group. I think their support and love is why I am still a survivor.
