My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Payatas Mission Outreach Inc, Riverside, CA, USA
Unlike other faith based organizations that I know in the Philippines, Payatas Mission Outreach is actively reaching out to the spiritual as well as to the physical and health needs of the poor. PBC/ Payatas Mission Outreach has been true to its commitment, producing visible results such as positive changes in personal lives and in the community. In particular, the medical clinic which is at the heart of Payatas is providing free medical/dental and vision examinations and treatments. Many of the poor people in Payatas have benefited from the medical clinic. The clinic is still in need for funding to be able to reach more people who couldn't afford medical care. With more funding, Payatas Mission Outreach can reach more needy people through an expanded medical program such as prenatal care, pediatric care, health education, immunization and preventive health care, feeding progra/ nutritious meals, education to street children, livelihood start up programs . Payatas Mission has a vision for the future, and has proven that nothing is impossible with God. I will continue to pray for Payatas Mission as it makes a difference in people's lives one person and one day at a time.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
seeing visible changes in the Payatas Community
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
humble, honest, tender hearted and Christ like
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
turn the community around into a living example of what christians and caring individuals can do to help make a difference in the communities we live in, beginning with each individuals, each community
Ways to make it better...
I would be physically present to be a part of the Mission. Therefore, I have arranged for a trip to the mission field in Payatas Quezon City Philippines this coming July to see what Payatas Mission is actually doing in turning this place around.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the lack of funding
One thing I'd also say is that...
I strongly recommend Payatas Mission Outreach because it has been true and faithful to its commitment, with visible results in the community of Payatas one life and one day at a time. I look forward to more accomplishments.
