My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Medical Students for Choice, Philadelphia, PA, USA
When I started medical school, I had no idea how fragile reproductive choice was. After attending my first Medical Students for Choice meeting, I found not only a group of like-minded, socially-conscious colleagues, but also a cause I could really commit to. MSFC is changing the face of abortion provision by ensuring that medical students are taught contraception and abortion that may otherwise go unmentioned throughout one's medical education.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the euphoria I feel at each regional and national meeting. I am always so inspired by the amount that future physicians care about women. It gives me faith in a profession that needs to regain the public trust.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
amazing people and amazingly committed to the cause. The staff come from various non-profit sectors. The organization is exceedingly well-run.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
guarantee that every medical student seeking abortion training could be supported from medical school through residency.
