I first heard about Caribbean Heart Menders Association as a nurse working at a local hospital in Miami. I heard about this wonderful organization helping needy children with heart disease. The more I found out about the organization the more I was impressed with their work. I then joined the organization so I could also give back to my community. They are excellent and I personally know the amazing job they do!

Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children who can now breath easily without fatigue or turning blue is life changing. The joys of the families are overwhelming.

MY ROLE:
Board Member & Since joining I help coordinate the medical missions and see first hand the children and their families experience the joy and gift of having their heart defects surgically repaired.
