My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Church Dynamics International, Vista, CA, USA
The name CDI brings with it my highest recommendation. CDI doesn’t deal in propaganda or gimmicks for church growth. Their Biblical counsel is based on excellence and making the most of opportunities that already exist. Many of their priorities are to foster better organization, create a user-friendly ministry and to increase communication. The evaluation process is candid but not discouraging. Any suggested changes are merely that, suggestions and recommendations. There was no pressure to adopt any changes. The changes suggested were minor and were made easily, yet, have had a noticeable impact. All counsel was tailored to our ministry and where we were at that time. A fresh perspective from an outside observer was helpful because things were seen differently. CDI’s biggest asset to us was the pastoral support and organizational assistance. They helped us become better organized and brought to fruition many ideas we already had. We were, also, able to build and improve ministry that was already underway. One of our goals was to become a bigger part of the community. In terms of numbers, our mailing list has gone from twenty families to over One Hundred families; all, of which, have participated in ministry events. We had a 400% increase in our Community Day attendance. We have a Hope Through Love program which is a tangible out reach in our community, showing the love of Christ, by meeting material needs. We have increased communication, both inside and ‘outside’ the ministry. The end result is a more favorable position in the community. God did not call CDI or us to make church attenders but disciples. There is a strong emphasis on assimilating new believers into training and ministry in the body of Christ. From now on, everyone that comes on the ministry property is no longer a visitor but a participant. Thanks to Pastor Andy and CDI for working with us. If you chose to work with CDI, you won’t be sorry. If you have any questions, or would like to speak to me personally, feel free to call 570-869-1854. What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The personal support was a very encouraging and non-threatening relationship.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
experienced, insightful, non-pushy.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
start it's own stimulus package.
