Cincinnati Union Bethel

I have volunteered as a facilitator for the Off the Streets program at CUB assisting women moving through prostitution and drug addiction. I've been so impressed by the organization that with my team, we offered to do monthly facilitation training for their paid facilitators. We teach self-awareness, breathing practices, conflict resolution, communication skills and leadership development.
The dedication of these facilitators is second to none. As we know, an organization is only as good as the people who staff the organization and CUB does something to foster deep commitment to helping others through addiction and recovery. In the long run, this strengthens the whole organization and contributes to the good results they are getting with their Off the Streets program.
We also appreciate the ongoing support of the executive team at CUB; they are warm and accessible and open to creativity and constructive feedback. I've a waiting list of women from my own women's groups who want to volunteer with this organization as it is a life altering experience.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Working with the women in the Off the Streets program through facilitation and facilitation training. These women really apply these skills and I've seen them deepen their own self-awareness which benefits those they serve.
