My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for HEAR Foundation, Chicago, IL, USA
My daughter has been to Jalapa, Gautemala, numberous times, and has been involved in teaching the girls at the orphanage how to sew, and bead (even making the beads and drying them in kilns). Both of these skills are useful in producing a product that can be sold so that they can have money for everyday things such as: food, transportation, clothes, etc. The girls pull at your heart strings as they are happy with the most meager things that we take for granted.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have bought some of the items the girls made. They are extremely well made and worth every penny spent.
