Threads of Hope Africa, Inc.
May 27, 2010

Threads of Hope is an outstanding agency for those interested in experiencing a real-life relief trip. They understand the preconceived fears for first-timers and make every effort to ensure that your trip is safe and comfortable while you stretch your limits. We sleep in cozy beds, with wonderful bathrooms and delicious food - there is nothing to worry about! This frees the traveler to really focus on working in the community. By partnering with a local agency in Kayamandi, South Africa, Threads has earned the reputation in-county for being a reputable, effective, and trustworthy organization. They truly see their overseas trips as "exchanges", allowing for mutually learnings. Because Threads goes back to the same location every year, evidence of their efforts are blossoming in the community. It is a blessing to see momemtum building and lives changing. Thank you Threads for thinking of every detail, for allowing me to volunteer in my area of interest and for your commitment to changing a generation in Africa.
