Birthchoice truly helps pregnant (and sometimes non-pregnant) women of all ages, races, and religions. The caring, friendly, and dedicated staff of volunteers empower these women by providing valuable and truthful information about pregnancy, adoption, and abortion, and suggest local resources who can help financially, materially, and emotionally—including Medicaid, Catholic Parish Outreach, Gabriel Project, New Leaf Behavioral Health, Project Rachel, various housing and employment options, and many more.
All of Birthchoice's services are free to clients, including pregnancy tests and ultrasounds (they even pay cab fare when a woman has no form of transportation to the clinic!). Men and families are welcome at appointments to support the women, and the facility is cozy and welcoming.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Clients are most appreciative of a volunteer's caring and listening ear. They are thankful for the resources Birthchoice provides, and that there's never "a catch." Women's hearts and minds open to what THEY ultimately want, not someone else's wishes.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the other volunteers -- their ever-inspiring dedication to providing women with accurate information on pregnancy and abortion.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
save many, many more women from a lifetime of potential heartbreak and regret.
