I read Women's ENews to stay on top of news and issues affecting women in the United States and around the world. I often assign articles from Women's ENews to the students in my Intro to Women's Studies classes so that they can see how the issues we're studying affect women globally. The emphasis on women's empowerment (women's movements and organizations that are making a difference in the quality of women's lives all around the world) is something that my students find inspiring. I also appreciate the commentary for providing new perspectives on important issues. Women's ENews presents all this with sympathy and respect for the women it covers, and with the recognition that women matter. It's one of very few media resources that puts women's issues and concerns at the center.
