Share Self-Help for Women with Breast or Ovarian Cancer, Inc.
May 18, 2010
I found Share Self-help to be a gusher (as opposed to fountain) of compassionate caring and crucial support during our time of need.
We went to a variety of fascinating didactic educational programs; and one we found a speaker who we would eventually reach out to from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center who would eventually be her attending physician.
We also had a chance to interact and benefit from their extraordinary executive director on various occasions.
I unequivocally recommend this wonderful support organization to breast and ovarian cancer fighters and their caregivers and support system.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
During the lengthy time that my best friend was well enough to actively participate; and I went to various public lectures after she passed away. Please see my above comments.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every six months
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Client Served & I was one of two key caregivers for my best friend with metastatic breast cancer. We went to a variety of meetings and interacted with both staff and expert guest speakers as well as other support group members.
