To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation
January 15, 2009
To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation has been an significant part of my life since 1999 when I modeled in the fashion show at Stepping Out, the gala fundraiser. I am a breast cancer survivor and at the time I was just finished with surgeries and chemotherapy. My hair was less than an inch long. I didn't feel like "model material" but I did it anyway, and this experience opened the door to the world of helping others dealing with breast cancer. My involvement continues to be a healing experience and one that reminds me that by joining together we bring each other through the cancer journey.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
providing breast cancer survivors with a life altering POSITIVE experience!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the life-long friendships and the feeling of accomplishment when we grant out funds that really impact the lives of others.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated and passionate.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of women and men who are dealing with the threat or diagnosis of breast cancer.
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Volunteer & I have been a volunteer for 10 years.
