My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Community United Effort (CUE), Wilmington, NC, USA
This is a very unique organization that strives to bring the missing home so each family member experiences closure. It started out as a local group that has spread to a national level led by one lady on a mission. The calling was answered by Monica Caison who formed a group of dedicated individuals to look for the missing at times closing cold cases that only with the family remains active. What more noble organization then to bring loved ones home dispite impossible odds. Thanks Monica for caring the cause.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Believing that what you are doing is making a difference in the lives of terrific people.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Trained professional volunteers who have such a giving spirit. Uncommon prople with the common desire to work together for the good of the cause.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Work with families nation wide in the attempt to find each missing person who leaves loved ones behind.
Ways to make it better...
If there were more funding for the volunteers that give their time to search so that more families would benefit.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
There is a greater need then the funding for the quest. Our economy is struggling and some good deeds are too offen overlooked.
One thing I'd also say is that...
This is the most impressive leadership within an organization. Monica Caison is at the helm but supported by such capable staff and board members. All work tireless for the same cause.
