The Greater Edgewood Education Foundation is an amazing organization that I am very proud to be part of. Deb Merlock, the founder and Executive Director, has an extreme passion and dedication to carry out this Mission. In "Recognizing the importance of quality education as it relates to the future residents of Harford County, the Foundation strives to make dreams into realities by providing students and their families the tools and resources necessary to support student achievement and achieve post secondary success in college, work and life". This foundation is helping children, who never thought they had a chance to attend college, achieve their dreams.

Participating in choosing the scholarship winners. I could see how talented and hard working these students were, but had it not been for the scholarship they received through GEEF, they may not have had the opportunity to attend college at all.
