FREEDOM HOMES OF THE QCZ INC
January 12, 2009

this is a poorly run organization that should be checked out by the city and state. they are supposed to be a christian based nonprofit helping those with drug and alcohol problems. they have no qualified expert trained staff on hand. they have residents in all their buildings that pay them rent is all. they should really be checked out for compliance to their articles of incorp. and their non profit status.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

nothing

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would be finding qualified counselor for the drug and alcohol programs they supposedly have instead of just worrying about which tenants can pay rent and how I can use them as my own persopn building maintanence staff.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

nothing

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Worried about making sure they have control of any group using one of their properties and how it benefits them.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Do alot if it was carefully monitored by a unbiased board of directors that is not consisting of residents or program participants. They should be from outside sources such as banks, lawyers, etc.

Ways to make it better...

If they would have stuck with being landlords and not tried to run the program that I created.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The folks running it worrying about rather they have enough floks paying rent to cover their bills on the properties.

One thing I'd also say is that...

the program and the two main folks running it really need to be investigated as to how they run it and what they do with the monies they get.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2008

MY ROLE:
General Member of the Public & Ran Veterans program till they kicked me out but kept the paying tenants.
