I lost my apartment when I tried to move to a better place and gave my landlord 30 days notice. When I tried to move to my new place, it was already rented out, and my landlord would not let me stay. Things went from bad to worse and I ended up in a mission with my son and daughter. Then, Beyond Shelter helped me to move out of Skid Row and into a temporary motel. Then, I had a master-leased apartment, and then I got the opportunity to apply for my own apartment at Broadway Village II. Now I have a great job and my kids are going to great schools. I volunteer there too. I feel that
