Review for Friends Of Saguaro National Park Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA
The Friends of Saguaro National Park has done an outstanding job in supporting Saguaro National Park. Their grant-writing, fund-raising, and innovative ways to increase the visibility of the park have gone a long way to ensure the park's continued viability. The Friends have raised funds for research, community events, park operations, and assistance to our large volunteer core. We are indebted to their passion and commitment for the irreplaceable resources of the park and the diverse Sonoran Desert.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the passion and dedication of the Board and members. They are truly devoted to helping us protect the national park.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
energetic, engaged, dedicated, thoughtful, and innovative.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
help the park close the gap on its huge deferred maintenance; establish new exhibits for the park's extremely old & outdated visitor center; eliminate the park of its critical invasive species problem that threatens the survival of iconic Saguaro cactus.
