Review for SAN BERNARDINO MOUNTAINS WILDLIFE SOCIETY, Lake Arrowhead, CA, USA
I first heard of Wildhaven Ranch, which is under the umbrella of The San Bernardino Mountains Wildlife Society, about 3 years ago. I saw a story about their first two bears and became interested in volunteering. What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
that I have been blessed with being allowed to interact with the educational animals ranging from foxes, raccoons, coyotes and the bears!
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
kind, compassionate and caring!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
build a sanctuary for orphaned and rehabbed bears! Larger, more well equipped enclosres for the other animals. And it could build a building where I could spend the night and not sleep on a couch when I visit up there!
