My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Kansas Association For Conservation And Environmental Education, Manhattan, KS, USA
I have been involved with KACEE since I first moved to Kansas in 1993. It has been such a great resource for me throughout my career. What sets it apart from many other environmental education organizations is its one-stop-shopping opportunities throughout the state. If an educator needs information of any kind KACEE is the place to go. It facilitates all the main stream environmental education curricula in the state and is very innovative in creating new programs for underserved populations. Being a part of KACEE is like being a part of a large family you want to visit as much as possible!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The people. Everyone is so helpful. Members come from so many different areas, no matter what your question is, there is someone who can answer it.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
always very friendly and very knowledgable about the organization and its programs.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Rule the world
Ways to make it better...
I simply had more time to really appriciate all the different activites KACEE has
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Time - there is so much to do and so little time to do it in. Being a non-profit, economics is also a challenge.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I recommend this organization to anyone interested in environmental education!
