My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for ELLICOTT WILDLIFE REHABILITATION CENTER, Colorado Springs, CO, USA
I am a volunteer for the Colorado Division of Wildlife. EWRC is one our areas long standing wildlife rehabiltators. Since Colorado Springs is growing so quickly wildlife has been put under extreme pressure to quickly adapt to our new city life style. Without the leadership of EWRC organization and selfless efforts of their caregivers many of the wildlife victims of this growth would have perished. EWRC's efforts have enabled the survivors to imprint new ways to adapt to their changing enviornment. This has enable a more harmonious change in the environment by allowing us to keep more of the wonders of naure while under going urban growth.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
their positive attitude with caring for sick or injured animals. Additionally, the programs they perform to educate the public on living safely together with wildlife.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
build the much needed infrastructure it needs to rehabilitate larger animals.
