My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for GREAT OLD BROADS FOR WILDERNESS, Durango, CO, USA
This group of dedicated Great Old Broads and Great Old Bros work to protect public and wild lands for future generations, and have fun doing so! Broadwalks (campouts) provide the opportunity for camraderie, service, and exploring areas that need protection for future generations. Local Broadbands (chapters) provide opportunities to work in our communities, giving voice to elders to protect public and wild lands and to explore local or regional wilderness.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
its terrific Board and staff and the Broadwalks.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
passionate and dedicated to the protecting wildlands.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
be more effective in moving the American public toward an ethic of protecting public lands for future generations.
Ways to make it better...
we had longer trips and more time to socialize.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
providing more opportuities for for member participation as we grow.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I'd invite others to join us to help increase the visibility and effectiveness of Great Old Broads!
