My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Boston, MA, USA
I assisted with a fall clean-up of the gardens working directly with organization horticulturists and volunteers. The staff was helpful and informative. The work project was well thought out, necessary materials were available, and there was a sense of accomplishment at the end of the period. I came to volunteer because I often walk the Greenway and am impressed with the beauty of the plantings, the level of up-keep and the programs that I see along the way. This is particularly impressive given the youth of the organization. They have accomplished an incredible amount in the limited time since the end of the construction of the Big Dig.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Being out of doors in the City. This is a beautiful City and deserves ways to showcase this.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Kind, informative and seemed to enjoy their work
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Increase outreach programming for the entire City - to bring the City together.
