My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for People for Parks, Minneapolis, MN, USA
People for Parks has a committed volunteer board dedicated to making the Minneapolis Parks experience a great experience for all. The bandshell plaza is a great improvement to Lake Harriet, as is the picnic shelter. Other projects include helping improve tennis courts across the city and inoculating Elm trees. This arbor day they will donate 100 trees to Jordan park in Minneapolis, adjacent to the Hmong International academy. Great people working hard.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
being able to give back to the park system which has enriched my life so much.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
hardworking, creative and dedicated.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Really help the Minneapolis Park system. The sculpture garden needs work, lots of parks need upgrades. Wouldn't take 10 million, just $1million would let us do some great projects like a new playground at Beard's Plaissance, repairs to parks city wide.
