The shelter would be better if it had the funds for a makeover and could afford shade trees and the many things they need. Their priority of course is for food and medical

One thing I'd also say is that...
Before you donate to another shelter, make sure they are in as much need in Sara. 90% of Sara's funds come from the general public. They dont have tons of money coming from foundations or the government. They are in sincere genuine need.
