My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for One Freedom Inc, Boulder, CO, USA
As a clinical psychologist working with the military for the past 15 years, I have been asked to evaluate many programs that purport to assist active duty service members and vets to boost resilience against and/or to treat combat related distress. ONE Freedom is the most effective program I have encountered thus far. This is because they offer trainings in core skills that help improve current distress, buffer against future distress, and help optimze one's performance in whatever one is doing. Plus, they are continually refining their approach through research and external reviews to continually refine and find the most valuable ways to deliver their program. - Jim Spira, PhD, MPH
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the way I felt afterward.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
tops in their field
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
fund this program
Ways to make it better...
it could have been even longer (especially with the skill based practices). I realize this is impossible for most people, but the more the better with this type of program.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
obtaiing research funds to demonstrate the efficacy of this approach
One thing I'd also say is that...
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
