VETERANS MEDICAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION OF SD
March 22, 2010
The cause of the VMRF is a noble one - helping the men and women that have protected our country and the freedoms that we enjoy. Far too often we take for granted those that serve our country.
In the current economic climate it is more difficult to find the means to financially support non-profits and others in need. Questions that come to my mind are "who is actually receiving benefit?" and "what percentage is going to those in need?"
And then I think of the severe mental stress and physical trauma suffered by our veterans. I think of the treatment of our veterans (in our medical system and in society), and it leaves me wanting to do more.
I never served in the military; the least I can do is to help support those that have. Causes that serve our veterans need all the help we can give them.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
supporting the rehabilitation of the men and women in our military that have fought overseas.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
I believe in their cause and that they are making a positive impact.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
truly committed to the cause of helping our veterans.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
