Review for Iron County Care and Share, Cedar City, UT, USA
The Iron County Care & Share is an incredible program the provides so many services to our community. It is our local feedbank, shelter, christmas box, and so much more. The Center has worked very hard in getting their new food bank up and running and is currently working on raising funds for their new shelter facility. Our current facility is not meeting the needs of our community and the need to increase in the number of rooms available to men, women and families. The property has been purchased and is just awaiting the funding to complete the project. In todays day and age a little bump in the road can be the difference between having a place to call home or even a place to stay for the night. There are so many that are counting on your generous contribution to help them fill in the gaps that their family needs until they can get on their feet. During this season I would ask that you look within your means and remember that because you have been given much that you too could give. Peace:)
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
their determination to make things happen and follow through with their vision.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
build our new shelter as well as transitional housing.
Ways to make it better...
the community looked at homelessness as a community issue.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the current economy.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Care & Share has a vibrant Board and a new Director that is going to see that its mission is completed.
