Review for Hugs Project Incorporated, Oklahoma City, OK, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Hugs Project have sent packages to addresses I have provided to them. All the troops have been thrilled to receive "Hugs & Kisses". I also had the honour of working with Karen & Ray at a VFW convention in Orlando several years ago. They worked hard, to raise funds to send packages to our troops on the home front. These hard working dedicated troop supporters inspire many others to work along side of them, and they never forget that have troops needing their help, daily. Thank you volunteer folks of the Hug Project.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

They have a can do attitude.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Dedicated, hard working and outstanding folks, willing to give their all to supporting our troops.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Service many more men and women serving overseas.

Ways to make it better...

N/a these people and this organization are outstanding.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Monies. In this economical time, it is difficult to give as much as one use to. This organization would welcome extra monies and supplies.

One thing I'd also say is that...

This is a family organization, when you volunteer here, you are part of the family, the military family. They care.

Review for Tampa Area Marine Parents Association Inc, Tampa, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Always ready to serve are the Tampa Area Marine Parents Association. If you tell the organization you need their help, they are there, no matter what project for the military family, the Marine Parents are there. Boxes for the troops overseas, no problem, helping raise funds for military groups, no problem, standing beside Gold Star and Blue Star Families in time of need, they are there. If I call on this organization for help, I know they will not let me down. Thank you Tampa Area Marine Parents. You are the tops. You have sent boxes to service folks addresses I have sent you, you have stood beside me when we grieved. You have attended fund raisers and welcome homes. You are very much appreciated.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

I only have to email them and ask them if they can help or put me in the right direction, and if they do not know the answer they will find it for me.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

I have met the President of the organization her name is Cyd, and also quite a few of the wonderful parents who work hard to support our troops and their families.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help the wounded warrior program,as well as helping military families in need, home and abroad. Pkgs to troops for morale. The list is endless, however, they would spend the money wisely, making sure that our military is not forgotten.

Ways to make it better...

Could not have been better, this organization has never let me down, they have the most outstanding "can do attitude" I am amazed at all they do.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

The State of the economy. Monies are needed to send packages to our troops, people are unable to give as much as they use to. This organization faces challenges in that funds are needed constantly to support their worthwhile projects, troop support.

One thing I'd also say is that...

There are many organizations out there that say they will do things, and don't. This is a CAN DO organization, that stand up for not only our wonderful Marines, but for other servicemen and women. I am proud to know such outstanding parents.
