My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for The Telling Project, Austin, TX, USA
I have had the honor of working with Mr Wei,Mr Addis and Mr Alves and I can tell you they are truly doing our veterans senior and younger generation a true selfless service.I have a challenge for anyone, go and see a telling and you will see what I mean it will move you like you have never been moved; I promise.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
They have the ability to get veterans to talk about things veterans refuse to talk about with counselors and psychologist. True proof that an specialist is only as good as there experiences. Most have little to no experience with combat stress.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Good people with a true sense of respect.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Offer there services to every college student veteran V.F.W,and American Legion member out there.
Ways to make it better...
Everyone would participate
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
The participants obligation to full time college classes prevents us from going all the way.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I had no Idea how deeply touching the Telling is to our senior veterans. Time to speak has actually set some of them free from the memories and Men they have buried.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every week
