I got to personally be involved with Herobox when my kids lived in Tyrone Ga. they volunteered and when i was visiting I helped out too. The people that run it are fantastic people. I adopted a soldier and we became friends on facebook, we still stay in touch she is now back in Texas at Fort Hood, So now I have a guy soldier, and He is very shy, doesn't share much but, I know he is probably really deserving of my support. Ryan the founder of this org. is a very thoughtful family man who has a beautiful wife and 2 handsome boys, they are a family like anyone else. My husband and I enjoyed knowing them. I live in Texas and cannot go visit, but they have my total support.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
getting to know my receipient. Knowing about all the good results that have come from it. Check out their site, lots going on and not enough volunteers.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the people in charge of getting thing done. Jenny and Ryan.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
people wanting to support our soldiers.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
do so much more for their cause.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every month
