I was a teacher at JOMP for 10 years and found the school a refreshing change from the other competitive, high-pressure inistitutions at which I teach. The environment at JOMP is nurturing, supportive, and the student body truly cares about making fine music together. The faculty is top-notch; but even though they have come from some of the most competitive schools in the country (and world), they treat their students with kindness and respect while encouraging them to challenge themselves and strive for excellence.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the nurturing and encouraging environment at the school.
