Tennessee Women's Theater Project
March 1, 2010
The first time I worked with TWTP was about two years ago, as a member of the run crew. When I met them, I realized that Maryanna and Chris were good honest people pursuing a mission that they believed in: not only to create more opportunities for women in theatre both onstage and off, but to do so through quality productions that most people in there area have not heard of. While the plays they choose have at least as many women as men, the plays themselves aren't focused strictly on women's issues, but rather address issues that appeal to everyone. As long as I've been involved with them, TWTP has created high quality productions and I've enjoyed being able to play my part.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The people I've met and the new plays I've been introduced to.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Kind, honest, hardworking people.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
buy it's own theatre space and afford to put on productions with bigger casts.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every six months
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Volunteer & worked on the production crew and backstage.
