The Homer Center 4 the Atrs is a jewel of upstate New York. I drive 90 mile one way to attend performances-- and did so last night in a snow storm. The excellent caliber of the performances make it worth the trip, but the real pleasure for me is the amazing venue, the accomodating, friendly people that work there and the atmosphere of the pre-show gathering opportunity. There is a beautiful art gallery to enjoy. They raise money for local students to receive SAT test classes. They do everything possible to help to make arts accessible to their community.
