Music Works Northwest
February 25, 2010
I have been with the organization for over two years now and have enjoyed every minute of it! Everyday, I know I am working to allow people of all races, ages, genders, and more to receive quality music education. Where I grew up, quality music education was not always accessible and there were several times when I was denied the chance to learn and grow through music due to being a female and wanting to play drums. Music Works Northwest has an incredible faculty that encourages children and adults of any gender, age, race, or background to develop their musical talents in a friendly way.
Music Works Northwest is a hidden gem in our community and I know I will be a part of this organization for the rest of my life in some way.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing growth and progress of students in music therapy and music lessons. Attending summer camps and recitals to see how quickly the students learn.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the students, parents, and my coworkers.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
extremely helpful. Our volunteers are incredibly dedicated and bright individuals.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
improve the facilities in which it gives lessons. Serve more local public schools and families.
