I've had a great experience as a Board member of Harfel. Since inception, the company has been passionate and committed about achieving their vision to not only transform Ballet arts, but also outreach to the community including those with disabilities.
As a person you grow with the Hartfel. They share their artistic values with you through mentoring and honest feedback. If you can't take the truth about yourself, then the Hartfel is not for you. They aren't shy or apologetic about confronting complacency. That passion is what is transformative about them.
I think they could focus more on developing their Blind dancer program. This is an area where there are more potential funds and grants to be secured.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
helping them gain some additional grant money
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
realize a strategic plan they've had waiting in the wings for years. Create a fabulous Blind and Deaf Dancer program.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every week
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Board Member & Helped obtain some corporate grant money. Helped initiate contacts for their first Blind dancer summer camp program.
