My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Hope Stone Inc, Houston, TX, USA
Hope Stone has personally brought so much art to my self and my family. Where can you go as a 40 year old who has not taken ballet in 24 years and be comfortable dancing with ex principal ballerinas? Hope Center... Where can a 12 year old boy go to learn photography and art, on a scholarship, and have a teacher that propels his self-esteem to the stars? Kids Play through Hope Stone...Who places on stage an unbelievable group of dancers and musicians, somehow highlighting each individual talent to create a masterpiece of art? Hope Stone. The organization , with Jane Weiner at the helm, is a true gem in the Texas art scene. Now that I live in London, it is one of the things about Houston I miss the most.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
working with Jane and the rest of the Hope Stone family. They are such a dedicated group of individuals with so much talent and such passion for their art
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
amazing. They care so much about the kids in Kids Play, bringing art and joy to children that may never have the opportunity to experience dance and music such as this.
Ways to make it better...
I still lived in Houston and could watch it grow!
