TAMARACK FOUNDATION INC
February 24, 2010

I have benefited by my association with the Tamarack Foundation in so many ways. Education, help with equipment purchases allowing me to take my craft to a higher level, experiential support from the administrators and fellow craftspeople and more. The Foundation has become not only important to WV Craftspeople for its presence but an integral part of a new way of viewing our businesses. Thank you.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Guided support with seminars educating craftspeople on how to run their businesses in a more efficient way thereby guaranteeing higher profits. Also, helping with equipment purchases has been wonderful.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

see that they received continued funding. The Fundraising Gala is a wonderful way for artisans to connect with the community in a way that is beneficial to the Foundation. Continued support from the State and Community is essential!

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the easy give and take with conversation.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Everyone has always been professional, helpful and willing to go the "extra mile". A wonderful staff!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

have more seminars and art classes available for West Virginia artisans.

Ways to make it better...

I can't imagine it being better.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

not having the powers that be understand completely the differences between artists and the way they make their living and people in the private sector and how they make theirs.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009
