Home on the Range Ministries International, Inc.
February 24, 2010
I went on a mission trip with Christ the Lord Lutheran Church to Catacamas, Honduras in June, 2009 with Teri Butler. We worked on the construction project for an orphanage that Home on the Range Ministries is building there. We also had the opportunity to minister to over 500 Honduran children using Christian drama, song and dance during the Vacation Bible School we presented. Teri, myself and a few of the missionaries from our church in Lawrenceville, Georgia, are working together to plan a benefit concert to raise funds for the orphanage. The May 1, 2010 concert will feature area Christian dance companies, drama and music groups. Teri is an extraordinary woman with a God-given compassion for everyone she encounters, especially children. She is totally committed to her calling and I strongly feel that the orphanage project will have a profound impact on the lives of many children and widows in Honduras.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing firsthand the impact the orphanage project is making in Catacamas, Honduras.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the joy of the Lord in all that I have encountered with this ministry.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
committed, dedicated, welcoming, honest, instant friends!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
build 50 million orphanages, all around the world, and save the lives of untold numbers of children!
