SAN DIEGO JUNIOR THEATRE
February 24, 2010
My daughters attended numerous classes and camps at Junior Theatre (JT). They were also members of the cast or crew for many JT shows/performances. It was wonderful to watch my daughters' self-confidence and abilities grow as they learned acting skills and took on more and more challenging roles. It is great to see how the multi-age groups work together; with older students helping younger students. And the staff and teachers are always very supportive of the students.
My family has also subscribed to the JT season for many years. Performances provide a great opportunity for students to use their skills in front of an audience.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my daughters' increased self-confidence and in the performances that I have enjoyed.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the sense of caring that I observe in the staff, teachers, students, and parents. It is a great community!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
bring the joy of theatre to more kids; especially less privileged kids.
