this museum is absolutely delightful. Anyone who has had family that started out in or near Maysville or Mason County Kentucky would find it so. Our ancestors lifestyles from the very first white settlers to the present is easily seen. The geneaolgy library is extensive. Even my own formerly unknown cousins have found me through their research there.
Every time I am home I drop in and have brought many people to visit the museums.
And I haven't even mentioned the exquisite miniatures. Just one more of the delights of my hometown.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
as mentioned in my review
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I need to think a while on this one
More feedback
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
it demonstrates what our ancestors' lives would have been
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Everyone is unbelievely helpful
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
as above. Hire more staff, do something wiht the graveyard outback. catalog all the cemeteries in the area and put it on line
Ways to make it better...
had more funds to get to the records in the court house attic and get them online
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
more folks to catalog stuff. It's boring I've done it. and it just has to be done.
One thing I'd also say is that...
It's a wonderful place.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every six months
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
2009
