Project Medishare has been one of the most important organizations involved in earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. They had the first group of foreign doctors on the ground the day after the earthquake and set up a first rate trauma hospital at the airport which is still in operation today. Project Medishare's decades of experience and relationships working in Haiti positioned them well to work closely with Haitian ministry of health to coordinate efforts.
