My son Michael walked into ACTs audition four years ago. Michael had mixed emotions at this point, he was excited and nervous and a little bit on the anxious side. I went with my son into the audition because he was nervous not knowing anyone. As soon as we stepped through the door, they greated us with open arms as newcomers. I knew from this point on I was leaving my son in good hands. As I later saw, I wasnt only leaving my son with caring people, but professionals. Even though this group is a non profit organization as well as a community theater, I have to admit there shows look and sound just like broadway! This theater group has opened many doors from my son. It's given him confidence as well as the correct training. But most importantly, its shown him how to let go and live. Its shown him to have self confidence and responsibility all while having fun. You can tell that the director, cheorographer, producer, and muscial director have such passion and love for what they do as well as teaching to young men and women. Each show gives me goose bumps as I sit there watching the children have fun and light up the stage. Its a true blessing to have found this group and I couldnt be any more elated. My son as well as my family arent just part of a show, we are apart of a family.
