TRANSCULTURAL EXCHANGE INC
February 21, 2010

I had the great honor of meeting Mary Sherman - TCE Executiv Director - while I lived in Boston. Immediately I wanted to get involved in this non profit that she runs with a great sense of charism. Her energy and enthousiasm are infectious! I took great pride in helping at the accomplishments of the projects and also in join the Board members meetings who welcomed me very warmly. Professionalism, efficiency, understanding and creativity are the key words for the way the organization is run. One of my best work experience so far remains my participation in the preparation of the International Conference for Opportunities in the Arts. I was amazed to attend this successfull event runs with so much ease eventhough it broughts together in Boston people from all over the world. Back in my country (France) and working as a consultant in a French Cultural Organization I am keeping in mind all that I learned in being part of that amazing global project. A great exemple on how to manage in an enterprising way a non profit. This Organization deserves all the success and the supports that it gets.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

every projects I followed (Tiles Project -London Biennale - Here There and Everywhere...) all the participants were delighted to be part of it.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

to attend the International Conference that it organizes every two years in Boston. A great place for learning on professionnal issues for artists and also networking with the "right" people.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

always genuine and dedicated people to their tasks.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

increase the mutual understandings in foreign cultures and help the world to become a place for peace and respect!

Ways to make it better...

I could have stayed longer in the US!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

finding enough grants and supports for all the projects that it desires to offer.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Thank you Mary Sherman and your team you are amazing.
