The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Several of the orphan/students move on to English lessons at a college in Cap Haitien. Other children learning English which will help finding a job when they complete their education.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Frankly, just do more of the same and hope I could extend what it does to a greater number of children.
More feedback
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
It is helping these children get an education without which they would have no chance to live a productive and happy life.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Teachers, cooks, mommas, health care providers from the Tovar clinic, administrators (principal)
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Extend its effort to more children, offer more learning opportunities in the technical school and provide for a greater number of orphans for indeed there are many more who need it.
Ways to make it better...
I had been able to spend more time. For that matter, I am going back as a volunteer with a medical mission to the Tovar clinic (just 1/4 mile from the School/Orphanage) and will be able to revisit the school
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Fund raising. Although they fully support the student/orphan population it now has, there are many children who do not benefit solely because of lack of funds.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Dr. Raymond Ford, the founder of the Robert Ford Haitian School and Orphanage Foundation, is one of the most committed and generous people I have ever met.
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
