Review for Artists Guild Of Spartanburg, Spartanburg, SC, USA

Rating: 4 stars

The Artists' Guild aims to support local artists by providing learning experiences, opportunities to share and to give back to the community, opportunities to show and sell their art.
We collaborate with other arts entities in the area with by-monthly pot luck dinners, and publicising each other's activities. We collaborate with the city for various activities, including putting art work in empty store fronts and providing feedback to suggestions and possible activities.
We send artists into the schools to teach and demonstrate, and are available to do programs and demonstruations for civic and private groups. We hold an annual Studio and Garden Tour to let te public see our work spaces and our art.

Role:  Board Member & I have served as President for the past 3 years, helping to make our organization more professional and have a higher profile in the community.

Review for Artists Guild Of Spartanburg, Spartanburg, SC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Artists' Guild of Spartanburg offers members many chances to network, to learn about different forms of art, to exhibit amd sell art, to keep in touch with the arts community in South Carolina. It's the only organization in our area to actually work with local artists, to help them grow and promote their work.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

We have a Board that works hard for the organization.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

The greatest!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Purchase and operate a large space to display many more members' art on an ongoing basis, provide art studios for members, allow more members to receive more training.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
