Volunteers always have the same reaction...this is a fun place to work and everyone is so nice.
That has been my experience as well. I had a passion for cooking and homeless people and started volunteering at the SoupMobile because they were they only non-profit that actually called me back.
No matter what assignment they give me for the day, I do the work and am blessed because of it, knowing that I am giving to people in need. David Timothy, the SoupMan, is an amazing individual who truly appreciates everyone's hard work and makes it a great place to volunteer.
They exist to give people a hand UP, not just a hand out and they show so much love in the process.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
personal growth and appreciation for what I do possess and showing love to those who need it most.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The people and the work...it's fun!
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
so friendly from all backgrounds.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
House every homeless person in all of Dallas and then some.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
