My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Walpole Footlighters Inc, Walpole, MA, USA
I have worked backstage for the footlighters for a number of years. They put on good quality productions of interesting shows - the sets and lighting are always beautiful and the actors are very talented. What really impresses me though is how valued I feel as a volunteer. This group really makes me feel like everything I do, no matter how small, is important. It's not surprising to me that their volunteers keep coming back.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Meeting people and having people in the organization be so appreciative of what I do and so welcoming to new people.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very friendly, very welcoming, very anxious to have me come back and work with them again.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
spend more on sets, costumes and upgrading the theater. Maybe spend a bit more on more expensive/current plays and musicals.
Ways to make it better...
I can't think of anything. Aside from the million bucks question to upgrade the theater.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
keeping funding in this tough financial climate.
One thing I'd also say is that...
this is a great group of people who work hard to put on good quality plays and musicals and have a great time doing it.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
